The room service was not hot enough.

Staff showed immense kindness and attentiveness during my stay, making the experience memorable. The big, comfy rooms and great location next to the arena were definite highlights for enjoying a football match. dining options were limited, and some service aspects needed significant improvement, particularly during breakfast. The lack of professionalism from some restaurant staff detracted from the overall experience, making it feel more casual than expected.

easy walks to parks and landmarks during your stay

I appreciated the friendly welcome with complimentary cookies and found my room comfortable and well-equipped. It was just a short walk to nearby attractions like the Lady Godiva Statue and Miners Welfare Park, perfect for leisurely strolls and city explorations.

The friendly staff were exceptional, going out of their way to assist us. We felt special when they found us a pitch side room after our initial disappointment.

The room had a few maintenance issues, particularly with the heating and a loose toilet seat.

My stay was enjoyable overall. The hotel was conveniently located near the Ricoh Arena, which made it easy to attend the event I was there for. The breakfast was quite delicious, and I appreciated the warm and welcoming staff who made the experience pleasant. I did encounter issues with the room, such as a broken air conditioning unit that didn't get resolved during my stay.

i stayed at the doubletree for 3 nights in a queen room and had a really great experience. the room was comfy and clean, and the breakfast was delicious! the breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. also, the gentleman at the reception gave great advice on transport links nearby, which really helped us out.

My recent stay was quite disappointing due to the heat in my room, which forced me to switch rooms, but thankfully I got one with a pitch view. The breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh fruit selection. I also enjoyed the complimentary warm cookies at check-in, although I expected a bath tub as in the photos.

Overall good stay, but the lift situation is a bit inconvenient.

The room was spacious and perfect for kids, they had plenty of room to play around. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices-those warm cookies at check-in were a nice touch too it's like they knew we needed it after traveling.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for the quality, it was acceptable.

The pitch view was amazing and added a unique touch to our stay! Room was clean, but it took ages to get the TV working. Would love to see the balcony doors opened! ⚽️

Great location with unique pitch view rooms

The room I stayed in offered an amazing view of the football pitch, which was a definite highlight since I was in town for a match. The spacious layout and comfortable bedding made for a pleasant stay, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had plenty of tasty options.

More comfortable seating in common areas would help.

The parking was conveniently ticketless and cost-effective at £8, making arrival easy. The pitch view room had spacious layouts despite some drawbacks and an impressive power shower that delivered excellent water pressure.

Room allocation issues are a problem here. In my case, I started in a noisy room with a malfunctioning bathroom that rattled throughout my stay. The bathroom in my second room was upgraded but had long black hairs and signs of poor cleaning. Air conditioning seemed inconsistent, with some rooms having it work poorly or not at all. Limited food options during major events forced me to settle for inadequate menu choices, lacking appeal and variety. Lastly, the breakfast service was underwhelming, arriving cold and with little selection in terms of proper condiments. Although I appreciated the large storage layout, functionality was lacking in certain areas, like the bathroom features needing some maintenance.
